Owner Responsibility
Owning a dog is a lifelong responsibility that lasts for an average of 12 years. This responsibility includes grooming, feeding, exercise and of utmost importance training. Many owners fail to fully enjoy the companionship of their pets because of behavioural problems which with professional training can easily be remedied; these include difficulty in house training, aggressiveness towards people and other dogs, poor behaviour in traffic, not walking comfortably on the lead and general disobedience. As a result of these problems hundreds of dogs each year are abandoned or placed with animal shelters.

Dogs & Owner
Dogs and particularly their owners can quite easily be trained to eliminate most of the above and other problems. This is where Copperbirch steps in and excels.

Copperbirch offers the luxury of several different training options for different levels of learning. All training is undertaken under the direct supervision of our highly experienced behaviourist and trainer Keith Mathews. Dog psychology and training is an art form. The Copperbirch dog training methods are based on consistency and reward techniques. No harsh, correctional discipline is ever used.

Whether your canine companions career will be that of a family pet, a show dog or a working gundog, Copperbirch has something to suit you and your pet's requirements.
